Centrix Nodes is a hosting company in Buffalo, New York that owns its own hardware and its own floor space. Game servers, virtual machines, bare metal and colocation, all out of a building we can walk into at three in the morning when something needs a hand on it.

From Rapid Hosting to CentrixNodes
2023
Company Founded
Founded in 2023 by Tanek J, Rapid Hosting set out to provide high-quality hosting solutions, including Game, Web, VPS, Dedicated and Colocation services. With a commitment to reliability, performance and affordability, we strive to deliver the best hosting experience for our clients.
2025
First Rack Acquisition
In 2025 we took a major step forward by acquiring our first-ever rack, allowing us to offer even greater service quality, excellent uptime and competitive pricing. As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same — providing top-tier hosting solutions with unmatched support and performance.

Rapid Hosting & Elemental Nodes Merge
CentrixNodes was born in November 2025 through the merger and rebranding of Rapid Hosting and Elemental Nodes. By joining forces we created a more powerful platform designed for elite performance, maximum uptime and better value. How we work
Four things we will not trade away
Most hosting looks identical on a pricing page. These are the decisions underneath ours, and the reasons we have not changed them to win a race to the bottom.
We own the floor
We are not reselling somebody else's capacity with our logo on the invoice. The racks, the switches and the mitigation appliance are ours, in a building we can walk into, which is why we can tell you what your server is actually plugged into.
Hardware chosen, not inherited
Ryzen where single-thread speed decides how a game server feels, Xeon where a workload wants cores and memory. NVMe as the default rather than the upsell. Nothing here is oversold to make a headline price work.
Mitigation is not an add-on
Filtering sits in front of every port on every plan, included. We think charging extra to keep a service you already paid for reachable is a strange way to run a hosting company.
Answered by people who administer it
Tickets go to staff who work on these machines, not to a script. If we do not know, we say so, and if your setup will not transfer cleanly we would rather tell you before you order than after.
